Our students have had a fantastic and bust Term 1. As we reflect, we recongise the high level of student engagement embracing a range of engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

A highlight was the recent Come and Try Athletics Carnival, where students enthusiastically participated in a variety of events including 100M, Javelin, Long Jump and Discus. It was wonderful to see everyone giving their best effort, supporting one another, and celebrating personal achievements. The day reflects our focus on participation, confidence, and enjoyment.

Many students have also been involved in our Work Experience Program, gaining valuable real-world skills and insights into different industries. These opportunities allow students to build independence, develop workplace communications skills, and explore future pathways. We are incredibly proud of the way they have represented the school in the community.

In the classroom, Food Technology practical lessons have been another exciting area of learning. Students have been developing their cooking skills, learning about kitchen safety and hygiene, and preparing a variety of delicious meals. These hands-on experiences not only build life skills but also encourage teamwork and creativity.

I am sure the students are looking forward to the upcoming school holidays as a chance to unwind and spend quality time with families over the Easter break. We look forward to continuing our celebration of students achievements moving forward into Term 2.
