Y9: Snake Safety Incursion

On Tuesday the 17th of March, our Year 9 Outdoor Education students had an incredible opportunity to deepen their understanding of Australia’s unique wildlife. The session provided an engaging, hands-on experience where students were able to interact closely with a variety of native animals, fostering both curiosity and respect for the natural environment.
Throughout the incursion, students learned about the habitats, behaviours, and adaptations of different species, gaining insight into how these animals survive in the wild. The interactive nature of the experience allowed students to step beyond the classroom and connect directly with the content, making their learning both memorable and meaningful.
