Primary: Multicultural Week

Last week, our Primary students celebrated Multicultural Week with a focus on the rich cultures of Balkan Muslim regions, including Bosnia, Albania, and Kosovo, under the theme Islam in Europe: Muslims of the Balkans.

Almost every student embraced the theme, proudly wearing culturally appropriate or country-inspired attire that reflected the beauty and diversity of the chosen regions.

The week ended with Multicultural Day, which also marked the final day of term. Students enjoyed a lively assembly with performances, a tug of war, and a creative, cooking-inspired play. Informative talks and the Principal’s address highlighted the history, traditions, and cuisine of the Balkan nations while reinforcing their strong connection to the Islamic faith.
