ACC Athletics in full swing

Today was huge for St George’s – with around 100 students taking to the State Athletics Track to represent St George’s in the H-Division Athletics Carnival. It was brilliant to see our new ACC singlets on show once again, thanks to the Friends of St George’s.

Congratulations to all athletes who competed on the day. It was excellent to see such great school spirit. We were fortunately blessed with better weather than 2025! Results will be posted in the next issue of The Dragon. Here's some pics from today:

Coming up - Health Week

In Week 8, we are celebrating Health Week. This coincides with RUOK? Day on Thursday, September 10. The Year 10s will also be running their Health Week Stalls in William Street across the week, so students, please make sure you head to Level 4 to see if you can win any prizes! For further information on the activities for the week, please see notices on SEQTA. 

NWAS Carnivals – Week 10!

Across Year 7-10 Physical Education, many of our units of work for Term 3 are coming to an end. This means we are transitioning to practice for the upcoming NWAS Carnivals in Week 10. 

Year 7/8: Tuesday September 22

Year 9/10: Wednesday September 23

Students will now be completing either Soccer, Netball, Touch Rugby or Badminton/Pickleball in PE for the lead up to our NWAS Carnivals. Thanks to all the students who have signed up so far. Teams will be announced in Week 8.
