Year 7s Ice-Skating at Cockburn Arena

On Thursday, 4 June, the Year 7 students participated in their social with St Brigid’s students at Cockburn Ice Arena. This was a great opportunity for students to socialise and build connections with one another.

Throughout the day, students demonstrated enthusiasm and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones as they took to the ice, with many trying skating for the first time. It was encouraging to see students supporting one another and showing patience, resilience and kindness as they developed their confidence.

The event provided a positive environment for students to strengthen friendships, meet new peers and develop important social skills in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Overall, the social was a highly successful experience that fostered a sense of community, encouraged participation and created lasting memories for all involved.
