Dear Parents and Guardians

We were very privileged last Sunday night to have the Bishop of Geraldton, Bishop Michael Morrissey, celebrate Mass for us. Bishop Michael talked about his own time as a boarder at Aquinas College and enjoyed meeting the 27 boys from the Geraldton Diocese after Mass.

The Diocese includes Geraldton, Bluff Point, Wonthella, Greenough, Dongara, Leeman, Northampton, Kalbarri, Nanson, Mullewa, Morawa, Perenjori, Coorow, Carnamah, Mingenew, Mt Magnet, Meekatharra, Cue, Carnarvon, Exmouth, Karratha, Dampier, Wickham, Newman, Tom Price, Paraburdoo, Port Hedland and South Hedland and covers 1,138,310 square kilometres.

This weekend we’re delighted to host students and staff for Mass and dinner from John Pujajangka-Piyirn Catholic School in Mulan, a small remote Aboriginal community located in the south-east Kimberley region of Western Australia, on the northern edge of the Great Sandy Desert and on the western edge of the Tanami Desert. The community is approximately 1,050km east of Broome and 280km south of Halls Creek, with a population of approximately 100 to 200 people.
