VET Pathways & Workplace Learning

What an incredible term it has been for our General Pathway students. The Year 11 and 12 have successfully completed their work placements, gaining valuable industry experience and developing their employability skills with some Year 12s being offered an apprenticeship upon completion of Year 12. I would like to congratulate all students on the way they have represented Mazenod College in the community. Their professionalism, respect and commitment continue to reflect the values of what it means to be a Mazenod student.

Our Year 10 Industry and Enterprise students will complete their work placements in Week 10, providing them with an excellent opportunity to explore potential career pathways.

We also have an exciting few weeks ahead, with the Year 10 MyPath experiences taking place before students begin the important process of selecting their subjects and pathways for 2027.  As we look ahead to Term Three, it is a significant time for our senior school students. Year 10 students will be making important decisions about their pathway for next year, while Year 10 and 11 students begin applying for TAFE courses and other training opportunities.

Our Year 12 students will continue exploring apprenticeships, traineeships, employment and further education options as they prepare for life beyond school.
