Year 3 - ‘Mechanics & Magnetism’
It has been a busy mixture of citizen science and tech for the 3s. They have been participating in the B&B BioBlitz, a project that is carried out over the month of September. We are trying to catalog all of the native species of flora and fauna. We have also been consolidating their 3D rendering skills using Makers Empire.

Year 4 - ‘Thermodynamics!’
The 4s have been acting as sustainable architects. After completing their passive house designs on paper, they have been transferring them into Minecraft to build interactive 3D models. They are now compiling these models into Keynote presentations to showcase their ideas.
Year 5- ‘Optics: Absorbed, Reflected & Refracted’
The 5s have been diving into the world of photography by building and testing their own pinhole cameras. They have been grappling with the tricky science of exposure times, which resulted in quite a few overexposed shots. However, as we know, trial, error, and unexpected results are exactly what science is all about!

Year 6 - ‘Electronic Product Development and Design’
The 6s are putting the final touches on their electrical product design portfolios. The 3D printer has been running overtime this week to get all of their custom product casings printed and ready for assembly.
