Year 10 Campus Experience Day

This Term, Year 10 students will step beyond the classroom and dive head‑first into exciting future possibilities!

All Year 10 students will be heading to Swinburne University for a Campus Experience Day, and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable, hands‑on adventure. This is far more than a campus tour, it’s a chance for students to experience what studying at university and TAFE is really like.

On the day, students will participate in three interactive, hands‑on workshops, giving them the opportunity to explore a range of pathways across both Higher Education and TAFE. 

The workshop areas include: Aviation, Design, Engineering, Film & TV, Health and Law

Students have already submitted their preferences and will rotate through three different career exploration sessions, each designed to spark curiosity, encourage questions and give a real taste of what learning in these fields involves. From practical activities to engaging demonstrations, this day is all about doing, not just listening.

Being on campus allows students to soak up the university atmosphere, explore modern learning spaces and imagine themselves as future Uni or TAFE students. 

Experiences like this play a powerful role in helping young people make informed and confident choices about their post‑school pathways.

Best of all, there is no cost to families, we just need to make sure consent has been provided. We would hate for anyone to miss out on such a valuable and exciting opportunity.

This is a fantastic day of real, hands‑on fun, exploration and inspiration, and we strongly encourage all students to make the most of every moment.

The future is closer than it feels and this experience is an exciting step towards it!
