7D Product Design - Keyrings

Year 7D have kicked off the term with a fantastic burst of creativity and energy! They’ve been busy putting their making skills into action, carefully measuring and marking out templates for their keyrings like true designers in the making. With growing confidence, they’ve been refining their cutting and shaping skills, transforming their designs into smooth, polished creations. Even better, they’re doing it all while following safe workshop practices, showing great responsibility as they bring their ideas to life. It’s been a brilliant start, and their enthusiasm is really shining through!

7G Textiles Year - Bunting Signs

What a fantastic Term 1 it’s been for 7G! They worked extremely hard to design and create their very own bunting signs, each one thoughtfully made for a chosen end user. From sewing and dyeing to carefully joining their pieces together, they really put their making skills into action and showed great creativity along the way. We are incredibly proud of their final outcomes! Now, we’re excited to see where their imagination takes them next as they begin their new project this term—Wacky Racers!

Yr 8 Product Design - Habitat Boxes

It is always so much fun as we all work together finishing the final touches in building our habitat boxes and then paint our custom designs. They all look so amazing please check out the photos! Awesome work everyone!!

Yr 8 Systems - LEDs

This term of year 8 Systems has been so enjoyable building these beautiful electrical circuits and customising them so their LEDs all look incredible!! It has been a fun, action packed time finishing off the wiring and creating the custom design! Brilliant work everyone!!

Yr 8 Food Studies

The first practical lesson of the Term was for students to demonstrate their understanding of what they learnt from Year 7. They made a Cheesy Omelette with bacon.

Year 9/10 Street Food Fiesta 

In Week 1 students continued their street food creations with Dessert Tacos which were a great sweet treat to come back for the start of the school term. In Week 2 they cooked up a storm on their own Burger Design Task where each student had to consider every ingredient that goes into a burger.
