ANZAC Day
At St Peter's we recognised ANZAC Day in a number of ways.
Our Year 6 Leaders lead the whole school through a moving ANZAC Ceremony paying respect to the bravery and mateship of those in the armed forces.
Other leaders baked ANZAC Cookies and sold them raising nearly $400 for the RSL ANZAC Appeal.
Many classes created artworks and made poppies to wear.
On Saturday, a group of Year 6 leaders joined Mrs Gibson at the Bentleigh RSL to lay a wreath at the cenotaph and pay respects and thank those who served and continue to serve in the armed forces.
