Flying High in Year Five

Year Five has started Term Two learning about ANZAC Day by reading different ANZAC books and articles and discussing their meaning. We have explored stories about soldiers and their experiences, which helped us understand the importance of remembrance. We have had thoughtful conversations about bravery, sacrifice, and history.
In Literacy, we have begun reading the novel War Horse, which tells the story of a horse and his experiences during World War I. It was an exciting and meaningful way to start the term, and we are looking forward to reading more.
Our camp to Portsea is later this week, and we are all super excited for a wonderful experience.
