A huge thank you from all the staff to our wonderful parent community voting for us to win free pizzas from Magic Brothers Pizzas.

We are certainly looking forward to enjoying them in a couple of weeks.

MOTHER'S DAY BREAKFAST

The invitation to our Mother's Day Breakfast was sent out to all families this week via nForma. The breakfast is extremely popular in our community, and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our mums and the special women in our lives who are raising our students.

Our 8:00am to 8:30am session is Fully Booked, but there is availability for the 7:15am to 7:45am session.  It is $15 per family and bookings can be made via CDF Pay.

The front carpark will be open for parking, with staff assisting.

Students who attend the earlier breakfast session will be supervised by staff until 8:30am.

We have had enquiries as to whether grandmothers are allowed to attend - due to space limitations, unless it is a grandmother raising the student (main carer/guardian), we ask that attendance is just mums and students. (Our Grandparents' Day Celebration later in the year is our opportunity to focus on the important role grandparents play in our students' lives.)

Again, due to space limitations, the breakfast is for current St Peter's students only.

PHOTO SLIDESHOW

We will be showing a photo display of our mums and students during the breakfast. If you would like your photo to be included in this, please send it to: community@spbentleigheast.catholic.edu.au

WORKING BEE

We need your help!

We are planning to have a Family Working Bee  on Saturday 16 May.

The Working Bee will run from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. We have a variety of gardening jobs, painting jobs and construction jobs to complete. We will be building new Gabion walls around the Year 1 and 2 sandpit and along the front of the Year 4 and 5 classrooms on The Street. The baskets will need to be assembled and then filled with rock. If you are unable to help on Saturday the 16th of May, we welcome you to help out assembling the Gabion baskets for an hour on Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th May 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

If you are able to assist at any of these times we would greatly appreciate it. Please email Steph Hunt to advise your availability shunt@spbentleigheast.catholic.edu.au
