Congratulations

Congratulations to Cameron, Jason, Cannon, and Mary for having their artwork Orange Garden No. 2 selected for the Operation Art Hospital 50! 

What an incredible accomplishment!

Fifty school students today added their names to the esteemed list of artists to have their works displayed in the Art Gallery of NSW, as we celebrated the official opening of this year's Operation Art Hospital 50 Exhibition.

The incredible artworks were selected as finalists from more than 600 artworks entered into this exhibition from 240 schools, and let's just say, choosing just 50 wasn't an easy task!

Artworks included everything from magnificent magpies to cheeky sloths, through to abstract cats and breathtaking horizons - all guaranteed to make kids in hospital smile.

The artworks were on display recently at the Sydney Art Gallery.  and then the artworks will then be displayed in regional galleries around New South Wales, before becoming part of the permanent art collection at The Children's Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.

Thank you to the Art Gallery of New South Wales for hosting this special event, and congratulations to all of the artists on this amazing achievement.
