Hospitality and Food Technology Catering

Well done to the amazing team behind the catering for the Principals' Network meeting earlier in the term. They catered for 160 staff members who came to visit on the day. 

The staff and students did an amazing job. The feedback from the attendees on the day was amazing. 

Great work Ms Marando, Mr Colussi, Ms Soldatic, Ms Chi and all the students who helped on the day.

Year 10 Design and Technology Showcase

On Friday, 28 March 2025, Mr Miller held a Design and Technology Showcase with his Year 10 students. 

This was an opportunity for students to display and explain their projects to a captive audience which included the Year 12 Design and Technology class, teaching staff, our School Principal, Mr King,  industry professional representatives and the Associate Director of Design from Sydney Metro, Connie Klonis. The audience provided great feedback to the Year 10 group, which was greatly appreciated by the students.

Year 10 Job Readiness - Careers Day

On Thursday 3rd April, our Careers Adviser,  Mrs Reid,  organised the team from EDGE to come out and speak with students about job readiness. There were also practical sessions where students learned how to apply make-up, style their hair, how to wear a tie, and how to dress for job interviews in particular fields.  Male students were also treated to haircuts by barbers. 

Thank you to Mrs Reid for organising and to Ms Zaidan for helping with supervision on the day and also for letting the girls braid your hair.   I would have volunteered but…............
