Bringing Comedy and Drama to Life

Year 8 Showbiz 

This term, our talented Year 8 students in the Showbiz elective class have been diving into the exciting world of theatre and production, exploring acting, singing, dancing, and design. With a special focus on comedy and drama, students have been developing their ensemble skills while working collaboratively to bring engaging performances to life.

From mastering the art of comedic timing to creating dramatic moments that captivate an audience, students have been learning how to express themselves confidently on stage. Through improvisation games, scene work, and choreography, they are refining their ability to communicate stories and emotions in creative ways.

With plenty of laughs, energy, and creativity, Showbiz is proving to be a dynamic and engaging subject that allows students to shine on and off the stage. We can’t wait to see their final performances later this year.
