Exploring an intricate art

In Year 11, students are exploring the intricate art of hyper-realistic still life painting, focusing on capturing minute details and textures with exceptional precision. Through careful observation and technique, they learn to replicate everyday objects, such as fruits, glassware, and fabrics, with lifelike accuracy.

This project challenges their skills in shading, light, and texture, while pushing their understanding of depth and perspective to create stunning, almost photographic representations.

The process encourages patience, discipline, and an appreciation for the beauty in the ordinary.

Can’t wait to see them finished next term.
