School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our third School Captain’s newsletter report.

On February 20th, we held the annual Start of Year Community Picnic at Woodlands Park. Filled with lots of excitement, laughter and joy, this was a great opportunity for friends and family to catch up after the holidays. For those who came, we hope everyone enjoyed their afternoon!

Following on from our Swimming Carnival, which was an exciting and fun event for our swimmers, those winning their events went on to represent the school at District Swimming, with some even qualifying for the next stage. Best of luck! We are all cheering you on!

For the past two weeks, the Year Sixes have been participating in the Gala Day Sports on Fridays, so the Year Five students filled in for the house captains and the school captains while the Year Sixes were at Gala Sport. Students played against other schools in their chosen sport: tennis, volleyball, softball or cricket. Hats off to everyone for their amazing encouragement, sportsmanship and participation in their sport!!

School Photos were on Tuesday the 3rd of march, and we hope everyone had their wonderful smiles on for the day!

Finally, we hope everyone has a great long weekend and we look forward to seeing you back on Tuesday.

And remember, kind words don't cost anything, kindness is free.

From your School Captains,

Ethan and Georgia
