Term 2
What another fantastic Term it has been!
We began the Term with our ANZAC Day Assembly, and we would like to thank the Dunlop House team for their efforts in organising this important event.

Shortly after, our Year 7 students attended camp in Week 3, where they had the opportunity to build new friendships, strengthen connections, and challenge themselves through a range of exciting activities including kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, bike riding, and the flying fox. It was a wonderful experience enjoyed by both students and staff.

Throughout the Term, students participated in a number of valuable incursions and events, including the Year 9 Wellbeing Afternoon and the ThinkUKnow presentations for students in Years 7–11. These sessions provided important opportunities for learning, personal growth, and awareness.
Another highlight was the Year 12 Formal, which was a fantastic evening celebrating our graduating cohort. Students enjoyed a memorable night of great food, dancing, and time spent together as they mark this important milestone.
Congratulations to all students in Years 9, 10, and 11 who completed their exams this Term, and to our Year 12 students who participated in Unit 3 Masterclass sessions. Thank you also to our dedicated teachers for their hard work and commitment in preparing students for these important academic events.
We also hosted a successful Subject and Careers Expo, where students were able to explore future pathways and discuss subject selections with teachers to support informed decisions for next year.
We conclude this wonderful Term with the Dunlop Fundraiser, another fantastic event that brings our community together while raising money for a worthy cause.
Thank you to all students, staff, and families for contributing to such a successful Term. We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday break and look forward to seeing you all back for Term 3.

Hollows House Captains - Term 2 Reflection
Term 2 has been a massive and active Term with an abundance events. There was the Hollows fundraiser where over $2000 was raised for the Fred Hollows foundation. It was a fantastic and busy day with many lunchtime activities, a crazy glasses competition, and of course the sausage sizzle. The day couldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did without the help of our House Ambassadors, whom we greatly appreciate! We are incredibly proud of Hollows to currently be sitting on top of the house points leader board, reflecting the enthusiasm and commitment of students across all year levels. We encourage you all to keep up the good work and representing our school values!
We also helped out at the Careers Expo, answering questions from students about different subjects and pathways. There were many interschool sport days where great teamwork, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship were displayed, and we congratulate everyone on their efforts! The Year 12s had their Formal which was an amazing and memorable evening with lots of dancing and laughs. We would also like to congratulate Years 9, 10, and 11 for completing their exams, for some their first and others the beginning of their VCE, well done to you all!
This term has been amazing, and we are looking forward to continuing the momentum into term 3! Go Hollows!
Your Hollows House Captains,
Ananya and Babette
