Wellbeing

Throughout the term, the Wellbeing Team has organised a range of workshops on important topics including bullying, e-safety, and respectful relationships. The Team also coordinated a wellbeing-focused afternoon for Year 9 students, providing them with the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities designed to promote self-care, strengthen positive connections with peers, and support their overall wellbeing.

Breakfast Club has also been back in action. Run by student volunteers and supported by the Student Inclusion and Wellbeing Teams, Breakfast Club provides students with a nutritious breakfast and a warm, safe start to their day every Wednesday morning from 8:15–8:45am.

This term, Breakfast Club welcomed visitors from Whitehorse Youth ConneXions, a local youth service that supports young people through programs, activities, and community connections that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and positive engagement. Their visit provided students with an opportunity to learn more about the supports and opportunities available to young people in the local community.
