Year 9 Connections City Excursion

Our Year 9 Connections students recently visited Melbourne’s CBD, where they explored the city’s vibrant street art culture, including viewing a famous artwork by Banksy.

Students then attended The Big Issue Classroom, where they learned about marginalisation, homelessness, and the experiences of young people living rough in Melbourne. 

They also had the opportunity to hear from KJ, who shared their personal experiences and insights.

Overall, students gained a greater understanding of important social issues and thoroughly enjoyed this valuable learning experience.
