Careers & Pathways
Senior School Years 9 - 12
Applications for the VCE Vocational Major (VM) and VCE VM School-Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SBAT) programs are now available from the Pathways Office.
As part of the application process, students are required to meet with one of our Careers Practitioners to discuss their pathway plans and ensure that the program is the most suitable option for their individual aspirations, abilities and preferred style of learning.
Completed applications must be submitted by Friday of Week 3. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee entry into the program.
Students interested in undertaking a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course in 2027 are required to complete the Request for VET Information Microsoft Form (Request for VET information – Fill out form).
While a VET course is a compulsory component of the VCE VM program, students undertaking other senior secondary pathways may also apply where the course aligns with their interests, strengths and career aspirations.
Following submission of the form, students will receive detailed information about available courses, training locations, costs, attendance requirements and the enrolment process.
This process allows students to make informed decisions and work with the Pathways Team to determine the most appropriate course for their future plans.
Please read the following attachment for further details about the VCE VM, SBAT & VET process and course options, and please contact us if you have any questions.
