Year 9/10 Robotics 

Term 3 has kicked off with a bang! Week 1 began with an Introduction to Robotics lesson, then an investigation into Industrial Revolution 4.0 before ending the week with an engineering task of constructing the tallest Lego tower - which was won by Oliver, Max, Harrison and Riley.

In Week 2 our investigation into Emerging technologies began and we had some fantastic class discussions on the ethics of Robotics. Next lesson we looked at soft robotics used by NASA and finished the week off with a 'longest OR strongest' bridge engineering competition. Congratulations to longest bridge winners: Blake, Adam and Ben; And strongest bridge winners: Rishab, Micha and Flynn!!

This lessons about engineering will be vital later in the term. What a fantastic start to Robotics 😊

Art & Technology Showcase - Design Winner Announced

The Visual Arts and Technology faculty along with our Visual Art Captains have voted and we would lik. Congratulations to Year 12 student, Hannah Haines, whose design was selected by a panel of Art & Tech staff and the Visual Arts Captains as the winner of this years Showcase Flyer Design Competition.

Hannah's artwork perfectly captured the enchanting, whimsical spirit of this year's theme “Realms Beyond”. Her design will be used across our advertising and promotional material for both the physical and digital showcase exhibitions. Hannah will receive a prize our showcase evening.

We invite all families to our annaul Visual Arts & Technology Showcase Presentation Evening on Wednesday 18 November.  This event showscases the exceptional work of our VCE Art & Tech students with the 2026 theme of "Realms Beyond - Exploring Worlds of Creativity”.

Journey through exhibitions of outstanding VCE student work, celebrate subject award recipients, cast your vote in the People's Choice Award, enter our Bake-Off Competition, hear from guest speakers, experience the Red Carpet show, and much more!

So gather your fellowship, mark your calendars, and prepare to venture beyond the ordinary.

Please note that all VCE Art & Tech students, including Year 12s, are expected to attend this event in celebration of their work.
