Group 18

Group 18 have had a wonderful start to the year! It has been pleasing to start the year off with so many positive learning experiences.

This term, we have been focusing a lot on working together as a class. Students have enhanced their social skills as we have been exploring the units History & Geography. We have been reading and listening about different landmarks in Melbourne such as Federation Square and the Botanical Gardens and what happens there. We have also been learning about Aboriginal and Australian history and culture.

Throughout the term, we have been exploring the concept of what a hobby is and identifying things we like and dislike. All students have really demonstrated a passion towards specific things, particularly our weekly Art program, PMP room visits and swimming sessions. 

We have also been enjoying our weekly cooking sessions. Each week, we have followed steps to create and eat something sweet or savory.

Students have been working diligently during their rotations and have really settled into the year well.
