Principal's Report

"Sometimes the most important learning happens in moments of joy, laughter and a little bit of fun."
As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on all that we have achieved together as a school community.
This term has been filled with rich learning experiences, strong connections, and many moments of pride. It has been wonderful to see our students engaging so positively in their learning, supported by the consistent structures and supports that underpin everything we do. Our focus on creating calm, predictable and supportive classrooms continues to make a significant difference for our students.
A highlight this term was our Post School Options Market Evening, where our families had the opportunity to explore a wide range of pathways for our senior students. It was fantastic to see such strong attendance and engagement, and to witness the partnerships we are building to support successful transitions beyond school.
We also took time to celebrate Harmony Week, embracing the diversity within our school community. Classrooms were filled with activities that promoted inclusion, respect and a sense of belonging – values that are central to who we are.
Our staff have continued to demonstrate incredible commitment, including participating in fire safety training to ensure we are well prepared and continue to provide a safe environment for all. At the same time, we continue to navigate ongoing staffing challenges. I would like to sincerely thank our staff for their flexibility, dedication and care in ensuring that our students continue to receive high-quality support each and every day.
It has also been exciting to begin the process of student leadership selection for 2026. We are looking forward to announcing our student leaders early next term – a wonderful opportunity for our students to develop voice, agency and leadership skills.
As always, thank you to our families for your ongoing support. The partnership between home and school is so important, and we value the trust you place in us every day.
I hope the upcoming break provides an opportunity for rest, relaxation and time with family. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next term refreshed and ready for another exciting chapter of learning.
