Library News

Holiday Reading
Library staff have been busy cataloguing books that were selected by students during the Book Fair in August. In addition to these new 80+ novels, the library has also recently acquired a new graphic novel set Anonymous Noise 1-7 and added books 25-34 to the extremely popular graphic series about a girl who is shy and anxious called Komi Can’t Communicate.
Students are asked to return their recreational reading items for Term 3, in order to borrow books for the holidays. A little note that the library is continuing to take student book requests throughout Term 4.
Book Club
Our next club will meet during the first week of term on Wednesday 8 October to discuss holiday reading and to select a couple of books to read during Term 4.
Students are welcome to drop by the library or email library@mgsc.vic.edu.au at any time with details of their name and class to join.
VCE Exams and SACs - Bound Reference
Best wishes to our VCE students for their upcoming exams. There are many suitable books to borrow during the holidays, with subject matter across the curriculum for VCE students to wanting to extend their learning and outcomes. Please come and see me in the library for reading recommendations.
This is a reminder to students and parents that the library has book binding materials and is able to assist students with their bound references.
