Building works update

With the scaffolding now completely removed, the landscaping works around the buildings have commenced. This includes the installation of a large underground storm water tank as well as seating and play areas adjacent to the main building. The scheduled date of completion and handover of the two buildings is 19th October with remaining landscaping continuing throughout November. Once we have access to the buildings, we will move classes, which is anticipated to be in the 3rd week of Term 4. The priority will be to move the junior classes from the east wing building so that demolition can commence. Due to this building containing asbestos, some of this demolition work will take place over the weekends. As a consequence of this timeline, we have needed to move the Arts Festival forward a week to Saturday 17th October.

Reminder to participate in the 2026 Parent / Carer Opinion Survey

Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Carer Opinion Survey and is seeking your feedback. The survey, offered by the Department of Education, is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement.

We sent you an invitation to complete the survey. If you cannot find the invite, please reach out and we can resend this invitation to you.

The Parent / Carer Opinion Survey will remain open online until Friday 18 September 2026.

Your opinions are important to us and will contribute to identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies. The department will use the results from the survey for research purposes and to improve outcomes for students.

The survey is being conducted online and only takes 20 minutes to complete.

If you require assistance in completing the survey, please reach out to the school if you require assistance in another language.
