Attendance

At CPS, we want to ensure student learning opportunities are maximised for our students. To do this, we need to ensure our students are at school as much as possible, when they are not sick.
One way that schools monitor whole school attendance is to track how many students across the school have less than 20 days absent for the year.
At the end of the school year last year, 51% of students at Craigieburn PS had less than 20 days of absence.
This fortnight, with some sickness around the school, we have dropped 1%. This is to be expected, especially in the depths of winter. It is important to know however that with continued strong attendance, this figure can still go back up! Again, our goal is to remain above last years end figure of 51%.
Every day counts!!
