Dear CPS Community,

As we near the end of Term 2, I wanted to take a moment to thank all the staff, students and families for a successful semester of learning and growth.

A reminder we have our Student Led Conferences on this coming Wednesday 2nd July. All students will be dismissed at 12 noon on this day.

Each child will attend with their parent/carer for a 10 minute conference, which will be held in your child’s classroom. Specialist will also be holding conferences on this day.

Please conduct the office on 03 93081228 if have any questions or need help making your booking. If you require interpreter and do not already have your conference time, please contact the office so we can organise this for you.

All children are very excited to share with you their achievements, challenges and future goals.

Student Reporting Process

Student reports will be shared with parents via Compass on Thursday 3rd July. We encourage parents to read and reflect upon your child’s report and celebrate their successes.

Our formal reporting of student learning and wellbeing is provided through our Semester Reports at the end of Term 2 and Term 4.

Lost Property

Please don’t forget to check for lost items at the front foyer, we have still many items of clothing that is unclaimed.  All unclaimed items will be sent of donation and charity if not collected by COB Friday 4th July.

Safety in the carpark

We understand that parents cannot always find a carpark during peak pick up and drop off times. However, this does not excuse the high number of parents double parking and blocking exits and entry to our carpark space. It is important that parents park legally to provide a safer environment for children. Double parking restricts the view of drivers, forces children onto the road and obstructs the flow of traffic.

A reminder we do not want to see children opening car doors whilst the car is running and on the road in the carpark to either get out of the car (beginning of the day) or get into the car (end of the day).

We encourage parents to drive safety in our school carpark and ensure your car is parked (in a carpark) when you child is getting in or out the car.

Please note:

The speed of a moving vehicle is limited to 5km in the carpark and to drive with care.

The local council does monitor school carparks and will issues fines for anyone seen to be breach of the road safety regulations.
