Creative Writing Competition

Heathmont College’s Creative Writing Club wants as many students as possible to enter its term 1 writing challenge. All styles and forms of creative writing are welcome. The only rules are that your writing should be inspired by at least one of the four inspiration images, and it should be between 1 and 1500 words. 

Possible forms of writing include: 

• Short Story 
• Micro Fiction  
• Comic Strip / Manga 
• Poem / Song Lyrics,  
• Film Script 
• Creative Nonfiction 

Maximum word count: 1500 words 

One winner for each year level! 

Submit entries to timothy.mcclare@education.vic.gov.au 

Entries close last day of term 1.  

Winners announced start of term 2.
