Murder Scene Investigation
Diving into the world of 12 Angry Men, our Year 11 VCE English students moonlit as part-time detectives, adding a dash of excitement to their study of Jury Duty. Student explored a taped-off crime scene to gather clues and poured over witness testimonies with eagle eyes. Their mission? To craft a compelling opening statement that could sway a jury, aiming to secure a conviction against the suspect they believed was guilty. It was a fun, interactive way to get to grips with the text and sharpen their debating and writing skills.
