Rainbow Space

After a hiatus in term one, Rainbow Space is up and running again this term. Students were involved in assisting the IDAHOBIT stall alongside the wellbeing team on the 17th of May, distributing fairy bread to peers and engaging in discussions about LBGTQIA+ discrimination.  

This Pride month we have been having discussions about the origins of pride, and what it looks like today in different parts of the world. Students have shared some reflections on the ongoing importance of fighting for LGBTQIA+ rights, and what that looks like in the world today.
