Alice in Wonderland
It is with great pride that I congratulate our students and staff for this year’s amazing production of Alice in Wonderland. The event was a true testament to the dedication, creativity, and hard work of our talented students and staff.
The journey was filled with countless hours of practice, collaboration, and passion. Our students have not only honed their theatrical skills but also learned the value of teamwork, perseverance, and self-expression. These qualities will serve them well in all their future endeavours.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our talented drama and music departments led by Molly Krausgrill, alongside Mandy Goldsworthy and Allira Wilson, as well as the support of our dedicated teachers, staff, and parents.
Thank you to the families, friends and staff for coming to the shows and for your continued support of our school and its commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
Here was some feedback from some of our neighbouring schools who came to see the show.
Dear Pauline,
Could you please convey my sincere congratulations to the cast, crew and staff involved in Alice in Wonderland. Fabulous set and costumes, great use of visual technology, excellent performances. Stand outs were Alice and the White Rabbit (and my favourite, the Door mouse!). Most importantly, the actors were clearly revelling in being on stage and the beams on their faces at final bows were beautiful to see. Shout out to the three teachers for their cameo as the three playing cards at the start!
If this is the beginning of the performing arts road at Greensborough, I can’t wait to see what the rest of the journey brings!
Thank you so much for the invitation.
Best wishes

Hi Molly,
Thank you for inviting the 5/6 class from Watsonia PS to see Alice in Wonderland today. It was a terrific performance, and all the students really enjoyed watching it. Please pass on a big congratulations and well done to all the cast and crew from us.
Here a few highlights the 5/6 students wanted me to particularly mention:
The student playing Alice was amazing and we were super impressed that she has learned all those lines
The White Rabbit character was very entertaining and a terrific performance from the student
We thought the student playing the Queen of Hearts was great, her loud voice and presence on the stage fit the role perfectly
The backstage crew were so quick and moved the equipment so smoothly
Again, a huge thank you from Watsonia PS – we loved it!
Kind regards,
Shannon Wright and the 5/6 students from Watsonia Primary School
Thursday 24th July – Year 12 VCE Parent Teacher Interviews
This year we are introducing a Year 12 only Parent Teacher Interview program. This gives students and parents an opportunity to get feedback from their teachers immediately after the semester reports have been completed. It also gives time for students to implement feedback and study techniques and strategies throughout term three.
On this day, the Year 12 students, including VET students, will be dismissed at the end of period 4 (1.30). The interviews will start at 2.30 and conclude at 6.30. There will be a half hour tea break scheduled for all teachers from 4.30-5.00.
Bookings will be open on Friday 27th June and close Monday 21st July. All parents of Year 12 VCE students are encouraged to make appointments.
Tuesday 29th July – Early Finish for Expo and Futures Fair
The School Council has approved an early finish day for students on this day. Lessons will be shortened to 50 minutes and students will be dismissed at 2.10, so that the teachers and staff can prepare for the Expo and Futures Fair which will begin at 5.00pm.
