8 Visual Communication Design 

Doodle for Google

Year 8 VCD students are getting creative as they develop ideas for their Doodle for Google task. Working from the theme ‘A Place I’d Like to Go…’, students are exploring destinations that are meaningful or exciting to them, from famous landmarks and natural wonders to outer space and imaginary worlds.

Students are creating four different design ideas that combine typography and imagery. They are experimenting with ways to transform the Google letters, communicate their chosen destination and explain their design decisions before refining their strongest idea into a final design.
