Year 11 & 12 Art Making and Exhibiting Excursion

Our Year 11 and 12 Art Making and Exhibiting students recently visited NGV Australia to experience FUTURE COUNTRY: Country Road + NGV First Nations Commissions 2026. The exhibition brings together eight emerging First Nations artists and designers, working across diverse art forms including photography, sculpture, weaving, textiles, moving image, sound and design.

Students participated in a guided tour designed specifically for VCE Art Making and Exhibiting, exploring how artworks are selected, displayed and cared for in a professional gallery. The visit helped students connect their classroom learning with real-world examples of curation, exhibition design and conservation, supporting their VCE studies and examination preparation.
