Wellbeing Page

The last 8 weeks of wellbeing at BHPS have seen us focussing on our school PERMA values (Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishment). Character strengths have included Friendship, Self-Control and Humour. 

In our classrooms, teachers have delivered explicit lessons from the Respectful Relationships curriculum, lessons about the Growth Mindset, Zones of Regulation, Respecting diversity and personal space. This week we have been exploring Brain Breaks and consistent, predictable routines. 

Mr Vella has been encouraging us all to use the Character Strength of Kindness and we have been having facilitating restorative conversations to assist students with coming up with mutually agreeable solutions to relationship problems (the script we use is attached)
