Cross Country:  

Students have been practising and preparing for the CrossCountry during PE Lessons, brain breaks and during Running Club.  

Mr O'Dwyer will be sending out more information to classroom teachers this week including the courses of where we need to run, what we need to bring and wear. 

Please see below the Courses and maps for each age group.

Cross Country Cupcake & Prima Deal 

The Rosemary Cullen Foundation are kindly making a "Cupcake & Prima Deal" available to all students for our Cross-Country event on Thursday 28th May. The Rosemary Cullen Foundation supports the poorest of the poor of the Philippines.  Currently we are funding 3 young people to attend university and paying for their living, books, fees etc in a bid to break the poverty cycle for their family. Kim Kim is our first sponsored student, and she is from Kulamon in the south of the Philippines. Kristopher and Angelica are students from the Cebu region in central Philippines.  The money is distributed according to need by very trusted sources. All proceeds from the Cupcake & Prima Deal will support The Rosemary Cullen Foundation to continue their valuable work in the Philippines. 

 

Please complete 1 RSVP per child in your family. 

RSVP required by Monday 25th May by completing the form. 

Cash only payments can be sent in anytime from now until Thursday 28th May.

SSV - Team Vic

Congratulations to Lewis Hargreaves and Jack Hawking on successfully progressing to the next stage of the Team Vic Under 12 Football selections. Both boys impressed yesterday at Trinity College Bulleen and will now return to Melbourne on Tuesday to trial again alongside some of the best young footballers in the state. We are incredibly proud of your efforts, Lewy and Jack — well done and all the very best! 

 

Congratulations also to Annabelle Kennedy on progressing through to the Conference stage for SSV Basketball trials, which will be held at Red Energy Arena in Bendigo on Thursday 11th June. She has also made it to the State level trial for Netball, which will be held at the State Netball Hockey Centre in Melbourne on Tuesday 16th June.

Tennis:  

This week we have been lucky enough to have Grant Kendall who is a Tennis coach come in a and help start our students off with a Tennis unit. Grant is an experienced tennis coach who some students may already know from Yarrawonga Tennis Club. We are very grateful for his time.  

Golf Simulator:  

What a fantastic opportunity it was for our students and staff to experience the Golf Simulator on Friday. A huge thank you to Cade from @golfnswmurrayregion for giving up his day to allow our staff and students to have a hit in the simulator. A great way to finish our Golf unit for Year 3 - 6 students.
