We have been very busy learning this term!
In Mathematics, students have been developing their understanding of addition and subtraction through a variety of hands-on activities, games, and problem-solving tasks. They are building confidence in using different strategies to solve number problems and explain their thinking.
In Writing, we have recently started learning about narrative writing. Students are exploring the key elements of a narrative, including characters, setting, problem, and solution. They have been practising using adjectives to describe characters and settings in more detail and identifying the problem and solution in stories we read together.
In Inquiry, students are working on their research projects and are learning how to create a presentation using Keynote. They are developing their digital technology skills by adding text, images, and simple design features to share the information they have gathered. Students are learning how to organise their ideas clearly and present their learning in an engaging way.
This week, we are excited to be attending our excursion to Werribee Mansion. Students will have the opportunity to explore the historic mansion, learn about life in the past, and participate in activities that connect with our classroom learning.
