Over the past few weeks our grade 3 and 4 students have continued their work around invasion games. The sports that we have focussed on have been basketball and soccer. Students have worked on the skills needed in each of these sports and have used problem-solving skills to engage in games for each sport. They have played in small-sided games for each of these sports so that everyone can have the opportunity to participate. Students have demonstrated how to work well with others and follow the rules in each sport. The concept of using space to advantage has been investigated and explored. We are looking forward to finishing off our invasion games unit and seeing the continued growth of all 3/4 students.
