In Writing, the Preps have been learning how to apply their sound knowledge to write simple sentences. Students are using the letter sounds they know to independently record words and share their ideas in writing. They are also exploring the use of capital letters at the beginning of sentences and full stops at the end. It has been wonderful to see students growing in confidence as they begin to write meaningful sentences and take pride in their work.
