Interview with Beth Larence

Year 3 Teacher

How long have you worked at BNPS?

This is my 18th year working here but I haven’t always been a teacher, I used to do other jobs at the school. Originally, I was a teacher aid then a Speech Pathologist.

What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?

Well having a sleep in is a good start, then probably seeing my family and friends.

What is your favourite TV Show?

I don’t really have a favourite show. I’m more of a channel flicker but I like to watch the news, so I know what’s going on in the world.

If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the World, where would you go? 

I’m thinking Tahiti looks nice for next year.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?

That I used to be a travel agent for Flight Centre in my younger days.

What recently made you smile?

I loved watching the kids on Year 5 camp getting muddy and having the time of their lives!

What would you like to say to the students at BNPS?

Be kind to everybody. It doesn’t cost anything to be smile or be nice.
