Principal's Report
Principal’s Report
This term is an extremely hectic term for everyone, but particularly for the staff as we prepare for our IB PYP Evaluation. The staff have focussed their two after school meetings since Term 2 preparing for this process.
I would like to sincerely thank Naomi Holt, who has liaised with the IB in Singapore throughout the year. Melissa Ball, who is also trained in the PYP, has been a wonderful support for Naomi throughout the preparation process.
The evaluation will be held on 6 and 7 November 2024. The members of the evaluation team will be coming from Cambre and New Zealand. This process is held every 5 years, with the next one scheduled for 2030!
School Camps
Term 4 is our camping term. Years 4 and 5 had their camp last week and Year 6 will be heading off on the 13 November.
We would not be able to run our camping program without the support of our staff. I would like to sincerely thank our 16 staff members who attended these camps. It is a huge task being responsible for 75 plus students, 24 hours a day.
The children returned tired but very happy and I am sure that most families had a very quiet weekend as the students caught up on some sleep.
Please see the Year 4 & Year 5 page for all the photos & student reflections of these wonderful camps.
2024 South Metro Region Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to Zac and Ethan, who both represented the school at the Regional Athletics Carnival today in Cranbourne.
Zac finished 4th in the hurdles and Ethan Cranage won the High Jump. Ethan will now represent the School at the State Athletics Carnival on November the 6.
Great achievements by both Zac and Ethan! Well done!

Planned Maintenance Program (PMP)
The Planned Maintenance Program provides funding to address high-priority maintenance issues across the Victorian government school network.
Our school has been allocated $540,501.38 as part of the recent PMP funding allocation for the outcomes of the Rolling Facilities Evaluation (RFE).
The RFE process identifies and prioritises maintenance issues that need to be addressed at your school. I have also provided a copy of the full Condition Assessment Report (CAR) for your interest.
The VSBA has allocated PMP funding to our school to rectify the Priority 1 and 2 maintenance issues identified in our CAR, which need to be addressed within six and twelve months respectively.
Planning for 2025
We are currently trying to plan our structure and staffing for next year. If your child will not be returning to our school in 2025, could you please let the office know as soon as possible.
