Always in our hearts

It is with great sadness that we farewell a much-loved member of our Beaumaris North Primary School community, Claire Kirk, nee Cromie, who passed away after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer, surrounded by her family including her two children Tyler and Callum who were BNPS students and close friends, on the 10th of April.

Claire was a constant and generous presence in our school community during her children’s years at BNPS, from Prep through to Year 6. She was someone who quietly and consistently gave her time and energy, always willing to lend a hand, take on a role, or step in wherever needed. Whether she was helping to run a stall at the school fete, contributing to the Mother’s and Father’s Day committees, coordinating graduation events, or attending countless school activities, Claire approached everything with warmth, humility, and a strong sense of community.

She was widely known and deeply appreciated for her kindness and generosity. Claire had a natural way of supporting others, often without recognition, and did so with little fuss, simply getting on with what needed to be done. Her presence made a lasting impact on many within our school.

Above all, Claire was a devoted and loving mother who was an incredible role model to her two children. Her strength, compassion, and selflessness will continue to be reflected in them and remembered by all who knew her.

Claire will be greatly missed by our BNPS community. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
