Science Talent Search

The 2026 Science Talent Search theme, Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All, encourages students to see science as a living, evolving process. Just as seeds need the right conditions to grow, knowledge flourishes when it is nurtured, shared, and applied to real-world challenges. Students are invited to plant ideas, ask questions, and develop projects that demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

Years 3 to 6 students have had several invitations and opportunities since registration opened at the start of March to express their interest in participating in this year’s Science Talent Search. Registration for the 2026 STS closes on Sunday 24 May.
