A reminder that the day before Cup Day, Monday 2nd November, is a student-free day for report writing purposes. No classes will be held on this day. Whole day care will be available through TeamKids.
As mentioned in our previous newsletter, we are well underway with planning for 2027. Each year, one of our key considerations is creating classes that best support the learning and wellbeing of all our students. To assist with this process, we ask that you let us know if your child (excluding Year 6 students) will be leaving HEPS to attend another school in 2027. We also invite parents and carers to share any specific information about their child’s learning or social needs that they feel the school may not already be aware of. If you would like to provide information for consideration during the class placement process, please email Anita via the school email address or provide a written letter to the Principal by 1 November. This information will be considered alongside other available information as we work to create class placements that best support the learning and wellbeing of all students.

What a wonderful morning we had at HEPS celebrating Grandparents and Special Friends Day! It was a huge success, with lots of smiles and special moments shared. A big thank you to all the grandparents and special friends who joined us, to TeamKids for organising the delicious morning tea, and to Mrs Dennis and her team for organising the entire event.

Congratulations to Aiden on an outstanding performance at the SSV Region Track & Field event! Aiden finished first in both the 100m (13.59 seconds) and 200m (28.55 seconds), achieving personal bests in both events. He narrowly missed the regional 100m record by just 0.06 seconds! An incredible achievement, Aiden. We are very proud of you! Good luck at the State Championships!

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the Ringwood Secondary College Band to HEPS! Our students enjoyed a fantastic live music performance and experienced the wonderful talents of our local secondary college musicians. This also included several ex HEPS students.

Tomorrow is World Teacher’s Day. World Teachers' Day is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the incredible work teachers do every day, especially at HEPS. By celebrating this day and showing our appreciation, we can help create a supportive and encouraging environment that allows teachers to thrive and continue making a positive impact on our children's lives.
