Year 1 Highlight

This term in Religion, students have been exploring the meaning and importance of prayer in our lives. We have been learning about why we pray and discovering different ways we can pray to God.

Students have also been building their understanding of Baptism, learning about its significance in the church and the special symbols involved in this important sacrament.

Finally, as we journey through this special time in the Church calendar, students have been learning about what it means to be kind and generous during Lent and have been following the journey of Jesus leading up to Easter during Holy Week.

We are especially excited as we look forward to celebrating Easter with fun crafts and activities together!
