Student Art Works

Our term has been jam-packed with so much painting, drawing, patterning, all the basic skills in Art, that are so important for creative development!

Foundation Grade have been busy learning all about, and especially how to draw pomegranates and toucans. Students have been industriously experimenting with paints, colour mixing and creating new colours for added pop!

Grades One and Two have worked diligently on their folk art piece which involves, drawing, tracing and painting a friendly, patterned dinosaur. They have also created an art piece using pencil and contrast in paper to imitate a spotlight in the dark night!

Grade Three and Four have worked hard to complete their termly art pieces. Their final works see them all championing an abstract feelings piece and their contrasting folk art fox.

Grades 5 and 6 had a term thinking about themselves with a patterned calligraphy block letter piece and a named graffiti work. Even Mr Saxon has been creating, love it!

We hope to have many of these masterpieces on display next term, close to the art room, if you are in the vicinity,  please come past to see some of the awesomely amazing work!

Euroa Recovery Hub Collaborative Art

It is with great delight that we can report our Collaborative Project is near completion and will soon to be displayed in our local recovery hub.  It's been truly a wonderful project for our community, enjoyed by all and the standard of work completed by each student in the school has been commendable. Our hearts are full of compassion and can be seen, reflecting our 'thoughts' for those who have been affected by the fires early in 2026.

Art Club

Our art club students are keenly enthusiastic and have been continuing their square grid drawings.  Next term we look forward to a visit from local artist Bruce Hargrave.  We are looking forward to having Bruce share some of his amazing talent and tips with us!

Benalla Art Gallery Visit

This term we have been so blessed to have received a visit from our Benalla Art Gallery, show piecing some art from the Australian Art Gallery.

Each class participated in an art lesson which allowed a first seat, hands on experience with valuable art pieces, stored so carefullyin suitcases. Our students were able to touch, discuss and experience diverse art pieces, from different cultures and different countries. Thank you, Teagan Nash, for visiting and sharing some amazing pieces, we have been honoured to be part of this National Art Gallery Initiative.
