Lovely last mass for this Semester for our Junior students
Year One students read with confidence, sang enthusiastically and helped lead the community in prayer with great reverence.
Father James spoke with the children about Creation, and they demonstrated a wonderful understanding of God's world and the many gifts we have been given. Their thoughtful responses led to a rich discussion about the beauty of creation and our responsibility to care for it.
It was particularly pleasing to see our Foundation students joining in with the singing and responses so confidently. We are very proud of all the children for the respect, joy and faith they brought to this special celebration.
Mass Guide
I would like to thank our School Advisory Council, who worked with Kate and me to develop a Mass guide for families. We love seeing the church full for our community Masses each Wednesday, and we want every visitor to feel confident and comfortable joining us in prayer. To support this, it is our intention to have four children in the church foyer each week, offering these guides to any visitors who would like one.
We are awaiting final confirmation of our Term 3 community mass dates and will share next week for your diary.
