Leadership Communication
My Lord and My God
As Semester reports arrive via PAM today, It is a fitting moment to look back on the many ways our children have grown across the first half of the year. Their academic progress is very important, but so too are the countless moments that show who they are becoming as whole people, children who build friendships, look after one another and take action for others through fundraising and service.
Our Foundation students, who began the year after play visits and orientation in 2025, settled beautifully into the expectations of school life, developing focus, stamina, limited choice and confidence as they embraced new routines. Across the school, students moved into new groups and classes and continued to uphold our expectations of safety, respect and learning, reflected each week in the many certificates awarded at assembly.
Our learners have participated confidently in community masses, reading, responding and singing with reverence, and they have represented our school proudly in sports events, incursions, excursions, the swimming program and cross country. They have stepped into leadership roles and contributed with joy to Pentecost, Mothers Day, Multicultural Day and ANZAC Day.
In all these experiences, we see their dignity, their growing understanding of the Catholic story, social justice and love, and the many ways they enrich the life of our school community.

As we head into the final week of term, our teachers are very much looking forward to meeting with families for parent teacher interviews next Thursday. It is not too late to find an available time, and we warmly encourage you to book if you have not yet done so.
While you are onsite, please also take a moment to visit the Specialist Showcase to learn more about the wonderful learning happening in STSS, the Arts and Sport at St Thomas.
Have a lovely weekend,
