National competitions - it's on! 

It's time for some good news and we have some to share. Members of our Aerobics squad have excelled at the National level. MGSC was preparing to have a number of representatives at the National finals on the Gold Coast in August. That competition has gone online with videos recorded and submitted for judging prior to the latest lockdown. Results in all the sections and categories with the results announced over coming weeks. 

Audition category

The first to be announced is the Audition category. We have three year 12s in this event - Kasey Cutler (Senior Aerobics captain), India Jones and Hannah Walker. They were required to learn and perform a set short routine in 30 minutes. Using their living rooms and gardens as a stage, learnt, filmed and submitted their audition in half an hour. Audition done. Here are the exciting result - India took bronze and drum roll please, Hannah took gold! 

Congratulations on the outstanding results with special mentions to all for rising to the challenge in unusual circumstances.
